The event is located at the Hurley Business Park – 37 Greenwoods Road, New Hartford, CT
The event starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 8:00 pm. There are bands, activities, exhibits, and demonstrations all day long. See our event schedule on our Home page.
General parking is available on the grass field adjacent to the event location. Follow the parking signs – parking attendants will guide you to available spots. Additional parking may be available in the upper and lower lots of the Hurley Business Park, on Greenwoods Ave (one side only), in the parking lot adjacent to St. Paul's Church (39 Prospect St) & Callahan Park. The municipal lot located on Central Avenue in downtown New Hartford is just a short stroll to Greenwoods Road.
After parking, you must enter through the designated Welcome Tent area adjacent to the main grass parking lot.
Yes. Handicap accessible spaces will be marked accordingly in our main grass parking lot on the field. Additional handicap spaces are available on the upper lot closer to the Hurley Building.
No. This event will be held rain or shine. For your convenience we will have tents available to sit under near the Main Stage where the bands will be performing.
Bands play on the hour beginning at about 1:00pm. Check out the line-up on our Musicians page.
Yes. This is a family-friendly, all-ages event. Please be sure to arrive when the event starts at 12:00 noon to see the 12:15 pm performance of the Arm-of-the-Sea Theater’s RIPARIAN RHAPSODY Puppet Show – you don’t want to miss it!
No. Only official service dogs are allowed.
Yes. Several of the businesses in the Hurley Building, including the New Hartford Shops, are open on event day. See their website for more details.
River Rocks is free to attend, and parking is free. Bottled Water is available for $1 at the Welcome Tent. We will also feature a Tea Cup and Silent Auction at our Welcome Tent. Some items in the Silent Auction include an Ovation Guitar, Flea Ukulele, Ski Sundown 4-pack, and 3-Day Passes to Black Bear Music Festival, to name a few. Cash in small dollar bills appreciated. Food is available for purchase from our Vendors.
No. There is no access to the event from the Farmington River. You must enter through the designated Welcome Tent / Event Entrance area adjacent to the main grass parking lot.
No. There are no water activities permitted at this event.
No. There will be no alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the event. Coolers are welcome.
Yes. There will be multiple portable restrooms available including handicap accessible.
Yes. Lost & Found, whether person or item, is located at the Welcome Tent / Event Entrance.
